Saltenna is developing the capability to augment existing agribusiness to enable better wireless communications. This includes enabling IoT and developing new ways to sense changes in the environment. Saltenna expects to offer dramatic improvements to current and planned IoT, enable sensors to function in new environments and over greater distances, and add unique sensing capabilities such as sensing various soil and crop properties.

The flexible size, weight, and power of Plasmonic solutions will enable farmers to use Plasmonics in portable radios, on tractors and other mechanized equipment, on sensors, and as permanent fixtures in farm buildings and perimeters.
