• The engineering team is multidisciplinary and the applicant will interface with many other disciplines.
• As the team develops, the applicant will be involved in shaping the dynamics and culture of the engineering team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

Saltenna requires the following experience and background for the successful applicant:

• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
• Expertise designing and building embedded systems, including experience with Radiofrequency, Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), cybersecurity, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Electromagnetic simulation software.
• Experience building solutions for DOD and/or other classified environments.
• Experience working with the physical element of embedded systems: power, form factor, and other criteria.
• A comparative understanding of many embedded systems platforms.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with audiences of diverse backgrounds and disciplines.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND

Saltenna prefers the following experience and background:

• Cybersecurity expertise with embedded systems used in critical environments such as DOD, IIoT, etc.
• Ability to present a professional image for occasional field and customer-facing duties.
• Ability to conduct PDRs and CDRs.
